Donations to El Santuario de Chimayo

You can make an important difference to El Santuario de Chimayo. More importantly, your contribution can make a difference to the preservation of a history, culture and tradition that is both unique and precious to the world. El Santuario is a sacred place. It is a place of hope and comfort for those who suffer physical or spiritual afflictions. It is a place where the traditions of an ancient Hispanic culture are still honored and practiced. It is, as it's name suggests, a sanctuary from what is sometimes an impersonal and frenetic world.

Donations made to El Santuario de Chimayo are used to preserve both the building and the artwork that it contains, as well as to improve the grounds and make El Santuario more available to the many thousands of people who visit each year. El Santuario only exists through the generosity of the people of Chimayo and the visitors who find, within this humble and ancient building, something to honor and cherish.
