Cada año miles de peregrinos visitan una pequeña iglesia de adobe en Chimayo, New Mexico.

Esta iglesia, conocida como el Santuario de Chimayo, fue construida sobre una lugar considerado sagrado desde tiempos ancestrales. Muchos entran en la iglesia pidiendo el don de la curacion, otros simplemente para ahondar en la fe de sus padres.

Every year thousands of people journey to a small adobe church in Chimayo, New Mexico, in search of spiritual or physical healing.

They come to this church, known as El Santuario de Chimayo, because they believe it was built on ground that possesses curative powers and that many people have been restored to health by sacred earth.
